Cleanliness of Machined Surfaces

The use of hydrocarbon-based substances leads to impurities in particular during metal processing. These impurities cannot always be removed reliably in a subsequent washing process. Fingerprints or solvent residue can also cause losses in quality.

The detection and measuring of potential impurities is essential, when successive treatment processes demand a clean surface. Ideally, however, an appropriate measuring procedure should provide more than a simple yes/no statement. Measurement of different degrees of contamination is required. For such purposes, KONTAVISOR offers a solution.
